01.10.06 - Outreach Steering Committee Meeting
One component of Omya’s Community Meeting Survey was to assess the level of interest of respondents in further participation with Omya through various outreach activities. Individuals who stated interest were invited to join an informal steering committee to work with Omya to develop the content for their next community meeting.

On Tuesday, January 10th, 2006 Omya hosted an Outreach Steering Committee Meeting and welcomed these individuals to provide recommendations and direction to increase community participation and involvement.

11.17.05 - Community Meeting Follow Up Survey
Following Omya’s November 1st, 2005 Community Meeting, Omya developed a survey to gain outstanding questions and comments from community members that were not addressed at the meeting.

This survey was sent to all Community Meeting participants on November 17th, providing a forum for these individuals to rank and prioritize questions raised at the meeting and provide additional feedback and ideas. The survey results were discussed at the January 10th Outreach Steering Committee Meeting and will be integrated into the content of Omya’s next community meeting and outreach materials.
